While in futures, castorseeds maintained its downtrend on selling pressure amid weak export enquiries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
In edible segment, refined palmolein inched-up by a rupee per 10kg to Rs 527 from Thursday's close of Rs 526. Groundnutoil closed unchanged at Rs 1,140 per 10 kg.
Moving to futures, castorseed December contract resumed lower at Rs 3,820 and drifted lower to Rs 3,775 before closing at Rs 3,795 as against Rs 3,876 previously, showing a fall of Rs 81 per tonne.
However, Castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil ended unaltered at Rs 3,500, Rs 730 and Rs 810, respectively.
