Refined palmolein prices firmed up in an otherwise lacklustre trade at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to rising demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, linseed oil, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying.
In the edible section, refined palmolein edged up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 582 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 578 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1050 per 10 kg.
Among the non-edibles, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseeds closed unaltered at Rs 3,125 per 100 kg, Rs 655 and Rs 875 per 10 kg, respectively.
