In the edible section, refined palmolein edged up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 623 from Friday's close of Rs 621. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,170 per 10 kg.
Turning to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,200 from yesterday's close of Rs 3,175 and castoroil commercial went-up Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 670 from 665. Linseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 770 per 10 kg.
Moving to futures, castorseed for June contract resumed slightly higher at Rs 3,170 and surged further to end at Rs 3,202 as compared to Rs 3,166 previously, showing a gain of Rs 36 per tonne.
