Refined palmolein price rebounded smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on fresh demand from retailers.
Groundnut oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In non-edible segment, linseedoil gained on good offtake from paint and allied industries. While, both castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial slipped on subdued demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible section, refined palmolein spurted by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 632 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 627. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, linseed oil climbed by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 855 from Rs 850. However, castoroseeds bold fell by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,000 from Rs 4,025 and castor oil commercial moved-down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 830 as against Rs 835 previously.
