Elsewhere, linseeds oil also gained further owing to persistent demand from paint and allied industries.
While, groundnut oil, castorseed bold and castor oil commercial ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible section, refined palmolein edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 703 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 700 and groundnut oil ended unaltered to Rs 870 per 10kg.
In the non-edible segment, linseeds oil moved up by Rs 8 per 10kg to Rs 858 as against Rs 850 previously
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial closed unchanged at Rs 4,190 per 100kg and castoroil commercial Rs 868 per 10kg respectively.
