Refined palmolein prices slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to sluggish demand from retailers amidst lower Malaysian cues.
Meanwhile, groundnutoil and linseedoil remained stable in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial declined following reduced offtake from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, Refined palmolein fell by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 496 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 498. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 960 per 10kg.
Moving to non-edible, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 10 per 100kg to Rs 3,700 from last weekend's level of Rs 3,710 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 770 as compared to Rs 772 previously.
Linseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 765 per 10kg.
