Refined palmolein strengthened in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following rising demand from retailers.
While, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activities.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein rose by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 618 from Tuesday's close Rs 608 and groundnut oil ended unaltered to Rs 860 per 10 kg.
Moving the non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil closed unchanged at Rs 4,500 per 100 kg, Rs 930 per 10 kg and Rs 750 per 10 kg respectively.
