Refined palmolein prices strengthened further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained retail demand.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds ruled stable in the absence of any major large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also gained further following firm demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
In the edible section, refined palmolein climbed by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 610 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 606. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 740 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold moved up by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 3,950 from Rs 3,940, castoroil commercial edged up by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 820 as compared to Rs 818 previously and Linseedoil closed unaltered at Rs 780 per 10kg.
