Refined soya oil prices eased by 0.12 per cent to Rs 769.50 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposure amid adequate stocks position on increased supplies.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June shed 90 paise, or 0.12 per cent to Rs 769.50 per 10 kg with an open interest of 43,840 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in May was trading lower by 25 paise, or 0.03 per cent to Rs 757.85 per 10 kg in 22,920 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on the back of sufficient stocks position on increased arrivals from growing belts in the physical market against subdued demand, mainly weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
