Refined soya oil prices drifted 0.89 per cent to Rs 628.50 per 10 kg in futures trading today as traders reduced exposures due to easing demand in the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month January 2016 fell by Rs 5.65, or 0.89 per cent to Rs 628.50 per 10 kg with an open interest of 87,770 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in December contracts traded lower by Rs 5.15, or 0.81 per cent to Rs 628.55 per 10 kg in 22,396 lots.
Market analysts attributed the fall in refined soya oil futures to fall in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks on higher supplies from producing belts.
