Refined soya oil prices were down 0.20 per cent to Rs 568.15 per 10 kg in futures trade today after traders trimmed position, taking negative cues from spot market on sluggish demand at the spot market.

At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October shed Rs 1.15, or 0.20 per cent to Rs 568.15 per 10 kg with an open interest of 78,840 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in November weakened by 25 paise, or 0.04 per cent to Rs 565.40 per 10 kg in 34,605 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by participants due to subdued demand at the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
