Press Trust of India New Delhi
Refined soya oil prices moved down by 0.41 per cent to Rs 648.10 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants trimmed their positions, taking negative cues from spot market on easing demand against ample stocks.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March fell Rs 2.65, or 0.41 per cent to Rs 648.10 per 10 kg with an open interest of 25,440 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in April traded lower by Rs 2.20, or 0.34 per cent to Rs 639 per 10 kg in 58,280 lots.

Analysts said, offloading of positions by traders owing to slackened demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions, mainly led to the decline in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
