Refined soya oil prices eased by 0.14 per cent to Rs 766.40 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposure post weak cues at spot markets.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June declined by Rs 1.10, or 0.14 per cent to Rs 766.40 per 10 kg with an open interest of 38,120 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in May shed 60 paise, or 0.08 per cent to Rs 760.20 per 10 kg in 35,660 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand in the physical markets against adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts, mainly led to decline in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
