Refined soya oil prices fell by 70 paise to Rs 753.25 per ten kg in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand at the spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October declined by 70 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 753.25 per ten kg with an open interest of 10,210 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in November shed Rs 1.6, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 754.25 per ten kg in 29,150 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by speculators on low demand against adequate stocks position influenced refined soya oil prices here.
