Refined soya oil prices fell by 0.94 per cent to Rs 620.40 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants booked profits after recent gains.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May declined by Rs 5.90, or 0.94 per cent to Rs 620.40 per 10 kg with an open interest of 60,230 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in April declined by Rs 3.35, or 0.53 per cent to Rs 633.50 per 10 kg in 26,200 lots.
Analysts said besides profit-booking by traders, fall in demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position mainly influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
