Amid pickup in domestic demand and restricted supplies from producing regions, refined soya oil edged up 0.34 per cent to Rs 567.10 per 10 kg in futures trade today.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August edged higher by Rs 1.90, or 0.34 per cent to Rs 567.10 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,48,590 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in October contracts traded higher by Rs 1.40, or 0.25 per cent to Rs 553.10 per 10 kg in 93,735 lots.

Market analysts said besides rising demand at the spot market, restricted supplies from producing belts led to rise in refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
