Supported by uptick in demand at domestic spot markets and restricted supplies from producing belts, refined soya oil prices traded marginally higher by 0.11 per cent to Rs 610.80 per 10 kg in futures trading today.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in far-month March edged up by 70 paise, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 610.80 per 10 kg with an open interest of 54,920 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in February contracts traded higher by 55 paise, or 0.09 per cent to Rs 612.50 per 10 kg in 60,030 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade to improved spot market demand amid restricted supplies from the growing regions.
