Refined soya oil prices declined marginally by 0.47 per cent to Rs 614 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants trimmed positions, tracking a weak trend at spot market on subdued demand.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March month fell by Rs 2.90, or 0.47 per cent to Rs 614 per 10 kg with an open interest of 2,510 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in far-month April traded lower by Rs 1.90 or 0.30 per cent to Rs 622.75 per 10 kg in 67,780 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in refined soya oil futures to muted demand in the spot market against adequate stocks on higher supplies from producing belts.
