Refined soya oil prices were trading up by 0.19 per cent to Rs 655.50 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators created fresh positions, driven by pick-up in demand in the spot market.
Besides, tight stocks position on fall in supplies from producing regions fuelled the uptrend.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in September rose by Rs 1.25, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 655.50 per 10 kg with an open interest of 36,620 lots.
