Refined soya oil futures recover 0.19% on spot demand

Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.19 per cent to Rs 652.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh position after pick up in demand in the spot market.

Besides, tight stocks position on restricted supplies from producing belts supported the upside.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in July month edged up by Rs 1.25, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 652,30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 83,960 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in July month traded higher by Rs 1.05, or 0.16 per cent to Rs 644.85 per 10 kg in 1,24,030 lots.
 

Analysts said participants built up fresh positions on the back of rise in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly influenced refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
