Continuing its rising streak for the third day, refined soya oil edged up by 0.08 per cent to Rs 718.30 per 10 kg in futures trading today as participants engaged in increasing their positions taking positive cues from spot market on strong demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in January edged higher by 55 paise, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 718.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 42,410 lots.
Analysts said, widening of positions by traders following pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing belts, mainly kept refined soya oil prices higher at futures trade.
