Continuing a winning streak for the third-straight session, refined soya oil prices rose 0.39 per cent to Rs 662.70 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators enlarged positions supported by rising demand in the spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in July advanced by Rs 2.55, or 0.39 per cent to Rs 662.70 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,84,800 lots.

In a similar fashion, the oil for delivery in June traded higher by Rs 2.15, or 0.32 per cent to Rs 677.65 per 10 kg in 65,110 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by speculators driven by rising demand in the spot market mainly led to the rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
