Refined soya oil prices slipped 0.39 per cent to Rs 758.70 per 10 kg in futures trading today as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market on subdued demand.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May month declined by Rs 3, or 0.39 per cent to Rs 758.70 per 10 kg with an open interest of 24,670 lots.

On similar lines, the oil for delivery in far-month June contract was trading lower by Rs 2.50, or 0.32 per cent to Rs 768 per 10 kg in 41,050 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants owing to slackened demand in the physical markets against adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts mainly influenced refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
