Refined soya oil prices fell by Rs 2.65 to Rs 765.5 per 10 kg in futures trade on Friday as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in November declined by Rs 2.65, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 765.5 per 10 kg with an open interest of 31,300 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in December shed Rs 1.5, or 0.19 per cent, to Rs 769.5 per 10 kg in 11,480 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by speculators on low demand against adequate stocks position influenced refined soya oil prices here.
