Refined soya oil prices edged down by 0.12 per cent to Rs 733.30 per 10 kg in futures trade Wednesday as speculators cut bets amid easing demand at domestic spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October shed 85 paise, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 733.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 51,970 lots.
Traders said offloading of positions by participants, as demand eased in the physical market against ample stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions, weighed on refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
