Refined soya oil prices on Friday fell 0.20 per cent to Rs 798.4 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand at spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March declined by Rs 1.6, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 798.4 per 10 kg in 23,315 lots.
The refined soya oil contracts for April dropped by Rs 5.6, or 0.71 per cent, to Rs 782 per 10 kg in 29,535 lots.
Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices.
