Refined soya oil prices drifted lower by 0.18 per cent to Rs 761.10 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators reduced bets, taking weak cues from spot market on lower demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May declined by Rs 1.40, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 761.10 per 10 kg with an open interest of 50,430 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in June contracts shed 70 paise, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 767.30 per 10 kg in 28,110 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants on the back of easing demand against adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts kept refined soya oil prices in futures trade.
