Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.20 per cent to Rs 568 per 10 kg in futures trade today supported by improved demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing areas.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October month edged up by Rs 1.15, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 568 per 10 kg with an open interest of 79,825 lots.

The oil for delivery in far-month November traded marginally higher by 45 paise, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 566.60 per 10 kg in 43,735 lots.

Market analysts said pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing belts helped refined soya oil prices trade higher.
