Refined soya oil prices were higher by 0.24 per cent to Rs 759.50 per 10 kg in futures trading Friday after participants built up fresh positions positions amid pick up in spot demand.
In futures trading at the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in December month contracts edged up by Rs 1.85, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 759.50 per 10 kg with an open interest of 30,510 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in current month gained 80 paise, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 757 per 10 kg in 38,690 lots.
The rise in refined soy oil prices at futures trade was mostly supported by building up of fresh positions by participants following uptrend in demand at the physical market, traders said.
