Refined soya oil prices were up 0.37 per cent to Rs 626 per 10 kg in futures trade today amid pick-up in domestic demand and restricted supplies from producing regions.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in December rose by Rs 2.30, or 0.37 per cent to Rs 626 per 10 kg with an open interest of 52,960 lots.

Likewise, the oil for delivery in January 2016 edged higher by Rs 2.25, or 0.36 per cent to Rs 629 per 10 kg in 83,420 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in refined soya oil futures to pick up in demand in the spot market against restricted supplies from producing regions.
