Refined soya oil prices were up by 0.43 per cent to Rs 571.70 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants enlarged position on positive cues from spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June rose by Rs 2.45, or 0.43 per cent, to Rs 571.70 per 10 kg with an open interest of 1,10,170 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in April edged up by Rs 1.10, or 0.18 per cent, to Rs 596.35 per 10 kg in 97,185 lots.

Analysts said besides pick-up in demand in spot market on the back of ongoing wedding season, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
