Refined soya oil prices gained 0.62 per cent to Rs 585.90 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators enlarged positions amid positive cues from spot market on rising demand against tight stocks position.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in April gained Rs 3.60, or 0.62 per cent, to Rs 585.90 per 10 kg with an open interest of 69,475 lots.
The June contract traded higher by Rs 3.60, or 0.65 per cent, to Rs 560.15 per 10 kg in 1,19,465 lots.
Market analysts said besides rising demand in the spot market, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the jump in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
