Refined soya oil prices dipped by 0.37 per cent to Rs 756.30 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposure amid ample stocks position on increased supplies from producing regions at the spot market against low demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May fell by Rs 2.80, or 0.37 per cent to Rs 756.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 49,000 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in June declined by Rs 2.25, or 0.29 per cent to Rs 762.50 per 10 kg in 28,040 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on the back of muted demand in the physical market against sufficient stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts, mainly led to the fall in refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
