Formula One's governing world body the FIA has voted to reintroduce refuelling from the 2017 season, it said on Friday.
In a number of measures aimed at improving the much-criticised F1 show, the FIA will also aim to make cars appear more aggressive while going faster.
Teams will firstly be allowed a free choice of two dry compound tyres from next season, before a raft of introductions for 2017.

Aerodynamic evolution, wider tyres and a reduction in car weight will be introduced in an effort to reduce lap times by 5-6 seconds.
Refuelling will be allowed while higher-revving engines aimed at producing more noise will be introduced.
The FIA also wants chassis to be redesigned to look more aggressive.
