Refurbished Bengal emporium Manjusha reopened

The West Bengal government emporium "Manjusha" here reopened today with a refurbished look.

The emporium at Baba Khrak Singh Marg has been renovated to create a synergy of modern interiors, enhanced facilities for visitors and improved service delivery, says a state government press release.

Renovated at a cost of more than Rs one crore, the emporium now boasts of three floors, with modern interior decoration, elevators, revamped fire-fighting system and CCTVs and better utilization of space to ensure an improved experience for the visitors.

While the basement will house handicraft products and a sweet shop to be run by the famous Annapurna Bhandar of Delhi, the ground floor will display handloom items. The first floor will house leather and jute products, a tea-tasting unit and a tourism promotion centre of the government of West Bengal.
