Multi-sports championship event for schools - Sports For All - has announced opening of registrations for its third edition.
The third season of SFA will be held at three places in the city, including the D Y Patil Stadium in neighbouring Navi Mumbai, from December 1 to 23.
SFA 2017 will see many new additions in several aspects of the off-ground activities with the sole aim of further enhancing the athlete experience, a media release said.

This would include the new version of the SFA data and analytics-driven portal. SFA is also going to offer video analysis services to the participating athletes, which will help them improve their performance, it said.
According to the release, SFA is also announcing various awards and recognition along with scholarships in each sport for the most promising athletes, strongest school contingents, best coaches amongst others.
SFA founder Rishikesh Joshi said, "We incepted SFA keeping in mind a single purpose - that is to unearth talent from the roots across the country."
SFA has seen participation of over 35,000 children in 25 Olympic disciplines.
It said the annual fee for schools is Rs 12,000 and athletes (from registered schools) is Rs 200 for participating in all the proposed 25-plus sporting disciplines.
Licenced referees and officials will be overseeing the matches.
