Reliance Defence Q2 net loss narrows to Rs 116 crore

Reliance Defence and Engineering Ltd's standalone net loss narrowed to Rs 116.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 170.4 crore in the July-September period of the previous fiscal, Reliance Defence and Engineering said in a filing to BSE.

The total income from operations of the company increased to Rs 98.65 crore, over Rs 56.72 crore in the year-ago period.

Total expenses increased to Rs 138.1 crore, over Rs 118.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

"The company is engaged in the business of ship-building and repairs. As such, there are no separate reportable segments," it said.
