Reliance Power today reported 41 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 344.34 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2015 on the back to higher sales of electricity.
The company's consolidated net profit was Rs 244.35 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2014, Reliance Power Ltd said in a BSE filing.
The firm's consolidated revenue from power generation was Rs 2,667.88 crore in the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,753.07 crore in the year-ago period.

The company has nearly 6,000 MW installed power generation capacity. Its Rosa Power Plant in Uttar Pradesh generated 2,141 million units operating at an availability of 98.6 per cent and a plant load factor of 81.7 per cent.
A plant load factor (PLF) is a measure of average capacity utilisation.
The company's Butibori Power Plant in Maharashtra generated 1,075 million units, at 102 per cent availability and 82.1 per cent PLF in the quarter.
The Sasan Ultra Mega Power Plant in Madhya Pradesh generated 6,948 million units. The plant reached an availability of 100 per cent in the very first quarter of its full operations.
The 40 MW Dhursar Solar PV plant in Rajasthan generated 18.46 million units at an availability of 99.5 per cent.
The 45 MW wind capacity in Vashpet, Maharashtra generated 24.04 million units at an availability of 95 per cent.
100 MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) project at Dhursar, Rajasthan, the largest CSP plant under government's National Solar Mission, has commenced power generation. It is the world's largest CSP plant based on CLFR technology.
The company's shares closed 2.53 per cent up at Rs 44.60 apiece on the BSE today.
