Relief for Delhiites from searing heat in sight

Delhiites are likely to get some relief from the sweltering heat with rain and thunderstorm forecast in the next 24 hours.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, said a MeT department official.

Humidity was recorded at 38 per cent, he added

The weatherman has predicted that the sky will remain partly cloudy during the day with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.

Rain is likely to bring a welcome relief from the heat in the next 24 hours or so.

Yesterday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 38.7 and 28.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
