Relief from cold conditions in Rajasthan

Night temperature marginally rose by a new notches in parts of Rajasthan with Sriganganagar district in the state was recorded as the coldest place at 6.1 degree Celsius.

According to MeT department here, Churu, Pilani, Jaipur, Dabok and Jaisalmer districts recorded night temperature of 7.1, 8.6, 11, 11.8 and 12.2 degree Celsius.

Other station also registered minimum temperature above 13 degree Celsius.

Six trains were running late due to fog conditions in northern region. The trains are running late upto maximum 6 hours 40 minutes.

Howrah-Sriganganagar, Howra-Jodhpur, Sialdah-Ajmer, Gorakhpur-Hisar, Varanasi-Jodhpur and Allahabad-Jaipur are running late, NWR Spokesperson said.

The MeT department predicts that the cold conditions would remain the same during the next 24 hours.
