Religare announces dividend of its mid and small-cap fund

Religare Invesco Mutual Fund has announced the dividend of Religare Invesco Mid N Small Cap Fund today.

The quantum of dividend is Rs 2.50 per unit under the dividend option, while it is Rs 2.55 under the direct plan or dividend option on the face value of Rs 10 per unit.

The record date of dividend is August 8, 2014. All investors under the dividend option, whose names appear on the register of unit holders as on August 8, 2014 would be eligible for dividend, a company official said.

"Basically, this fund is focussed on bottom-up stock- picking in the mid-cap and small-cap space. The fund is growth-biased and focused on long-term investment," Religare Invesco Mutual Fund's fund manager equity Vinay Paharia told PTI.
 

The fund is an open-ended equity scheme, which seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio that is predominantly constituted of equity and equity related instruments of mid and small cap companies.

The net asset value of the scheme under the dividend option and direct plan-dividend option stood at Rs 26.96 per unit and Rs 27.34 per unit respectively as on August 1, 2014.

The scheme offers both lump sum and systematic investment plan (SIP) modes of investment along with dividend and growth options. The minimum application amount under both options is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.
