Financial services firm Religare Enterprises today appointed Sangeeta Talwar as an independent non-executive director on its board.
Prior to this, she was the Managing Director of NDDB Dairy Services.
In her career spanning over three decades, Talwar handled several critical roles and assignments across leading organisations such as Tata Global Beverages and Nestle India.

Sahara Q rolls out 10 mobile shops in Kolkata * Sahara Q, the FMCG and retail arm of Sahara India Pariwar, today launched mobile shops branded as Quality Mobile Shop (QMS) in West Bengal.

Suresh Jandhyala takes charge as new DG of Income Tax, Mumbai * Suresh Jandhyala, a 1979-batch Indian Revenue Service officer, today took over as the new Director General of Income Tax (Investigations), Mumbai.
Prior to this, Jandhyala held the charge of Chief Commissioner, Income Tax in Andhra Pradesh.
The investigation wing of income tax focuses on tax evasion that is prevalent in various sectors and specifically those which comes to light in investigations undertaken by other departments and investigating agencies.

GoAir to fly daily on Kolkata-Patna sector * The Wadia Group-promoted budget carrier GoAir today announced direct daily service on the Kolkata-Patna sector from tomorrow.
"We are delighted to connect Kolkata and Patna. This indicates the strong demand in the region and is in line with our strategy to bring connectivity between the metros and non-metros," said Girish Nair, Chief Commercial Officer, GoAir.
