Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said religious places in the state are being developed as tourist attractions so that local youth can get employment.
Attending a programme at Jharkhand Dham in Giridih district, Das said the state has been named after Jharkhand dham.
"Religious tourist places in Jharkhand are being developed on the pattern of Tirupati so that local youth can get employment opportunities," an official release said quoting Das.
The possibility of eco-tourism would also be developed, he said adding that there is a necessity for setting up a Sanskrit college in Jharkhand Dham.
