A feeble western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation extending up to 4.5 km a.S.L. Lies over Jammu and Kashmir and neighbourhood. System would move east northeastwards. The trough of low at mean sea level from Lakshadweep area to south Maharashtra coast persists. The other trough of low at mean sea level over southwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood persists. The cyclonic circulation over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and neighbourhood became less marked yesterday evening. Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of Odisha and below normal in some parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch and in remaining parts of Odisha. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh and of Vidarbha; appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Telangana and were above normal in some parts of east Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and Kerala and in remaining parts of Saurashtra and Kutch. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 4.7 C has been recorded at Adampur (Punjab) in the plains of the country.
