Besides Dabas, a private detective Neeraj has also been arrested by the police in connection with the case, police said, adding that both of them are not cooperating in the probe.
The police, which had produced Dabas in a muffled face, sought his police custody for another five days but the court only granted two day of his custodial interrogation.
"As extension of police custody is required for purpose of further interrogation to unearth the conspiracy and arresting of co-accused, I deem it appropriate to extend police custody remand of the accused for further two days," the court said.
Dabas' counsel Naushad Ahmad Khan opposed the extension of his remand saying he has been falsely implicated and the case has been planted on him and he is a "small fry and the big fish has been left out."
Meanwhile, Dabas moved a plea seeking copy of FIR against him. The application will come for hearing tomorrow.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police had on February 14 arrested 32-year-old Dabas for allegedly trying to access Jaitley's call details. According to police, Dabas had tried to use the official email ID of an ACP to send a request to a mobile service provider for the call detail records of Jaitley.
