Meanwhile, the judge asked CBI to file a memo on February 27 with regard to the reasons for extension of the remand of Jaganmohan Reddy and also on the status of investigation of the case.
Earlier, when the accused were produced before the court through video conference, the defence raised objections on the CBI seeking extension of Jaganmohan Reddy's judicial remand "without any reasons".
"It was in August last year the fourth charge sheet has been filed since then not even a report has been filed by the CBI before the court. When the CBI would file its final charge sheet?" the court asked, and said an accused cannot be kept in prison under the guise of pending investigation.
The judge further said the court will take up the matter on framing of charges against the accused in the case on February 27. This was after the Judge asked the defence and prosecution whether they were ready for hearing of charges in the four charge sheets filed by CBI in the case.
