The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over northeast Afganistan and neighbourhood now lies over northeast Afganistan and adjoining Pakistan and extends up to 4.5 km asl.System would move eastnortheastwards. A trough in the lower levels westerlies extends from Assam and Meghalaya to north Bay of Bengal. The trough of low at mean sea level over Lakshadweep area and neighbourhood now extends from north Kerala coast to south Maharashtra coast. Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh and of Vidarbha; appreciably below normal in some parts of Odisha and were below normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa and of Madhya Maharashtra and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh. They were appreciably above normal in some parts of west Rajasthan and were above normal in some parts of Gujarat state, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and of Kerala. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.6 degree Celsius has been recorded at Adampur (Punjab) in the plains of the country.
