The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation extending up to 4.5 km a.S.L. Over eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir persists. The trough in the mid and upper tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km a.S.L. Now extends between Longitude 80 degree east to Longitude 75 degree east to the north Latitude 25 degree. Above two systems would move east northeastwards. The trough of low at mean sea level over southeast and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal now lies over southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast. Another trough of low at mean sea level lies over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman sea. The low pressure area over northwest Rajasthan and neighbourhood along with upper air cyclonic circulation associated with it became less marked yesterday evening.
