The trough of low at mean sea level over Lakshadweep and neighbourhood now extends from Lakshadweep area to south Maharashtra coast. The other trough of low at mean sea level over southwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood persists.
The cyclonic circulation extending upto 1.5 kms a.S.L. over Assam and Meghalaya and neighbourhood now lies over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and neighbourhood.
Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir and east Madhya Pradesh.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, west Madhya Pradesh and of Saurashtra and Kutch; remaining parts of east Madhya Pradesh. They were below normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat region and of Vidarbha and in remaining parts of Odisha and of Jammu and Kashmir.
They were appreciably above normal in some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Chattisgarh, Telangana and of north interior Karnataka; remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region and of Vidarbha. They were above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Uttarkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coast and south interior Karnataka and of Kerala and in remaining parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and of Saurashtra and Kutch.
They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 4.0 deg C has been recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) and Hisar (Haryana) in the plains of the country.
