Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj expressed her concern over the developments in Maldives and discussed the matter with National Security Advisor Shiv Shankar Menon.
"The situation in Maldives is a matter of serious concern. I have spoken to the NSA and asked him that the government should keep us informed in this regard," Swaraj posted on her Twitter handle.
